About Micro Teaching

Review of our micro teaching

Strong point
We made our explanation really simple. And we used a work seat to practice.
It's very helpful to understand get target structure and meaning.

Week point
We couldn't explain enough. Some micro students couldn't get how to use
target structure and understand the meaning. We could use more sentences
and example.

Thank you for your all.

About Mr.Maruhashi's lesson

Mr.Maruhashi told us about junior high school sutudents and teacher's work.
He said teacher should make children change. I think it is true.
According to his lesson, I changed my thinking of junior high school students.
If I will teach to them I can remember this experience. It worked to me alot.

Refrection of June8th class

It was really good lesson. We discussed about how to make up lesson.
I noticed that the order of activities in a lesson is really important.
And also the way how to show the topics and how to teach in a lesson
are very various.I like the way that show topic at first and have
practice next of it.

About Communicative Activities

Today, I am going to review two of the "typical Japanese junior high school"communicative activities presented in ETM 3. The activities I am going to reviewer Find someone who and Questionnaire. You can view them here.

At first I want to talk about Find someone who. I think it's good idea to get target grammar structure in the lesson. If it connects to Matching game, it will be better. Student can choose the words and make sentence like Matching game. After then they can play Fined someone who activity. If two activities are mixed, the new activity become more interesting and enjoyable. In addition it'll be effective to acquire the target structure.

The second I want to talk about Questionnaire. I think it is a little boring to do the Questionnaire given by the teacher. So I suggest this way. I want the student to make their own Questionnaire and ask each other in the lesson. They can do the Questionnaire prepared by the teacher and also thy can do their own. This way encourage the student to be aggressive.

The Most Inportant Thing in The World

I think the relationship is the most important in the world. Nobody can grow up and live alone except very special situation. Everyone live in the relation without exception.
Especially I'm a lonely man, you know? I can not stand without any relationship with someone. I love my family. They give me love and rest. I love my friends. They give me happiness and precious time. I love all the people related with me.
I like a JApanese proverb"a once-in-a-lifetime chance " it said in Japanese"Ichi-go Ichi-e".

My expreriences

When I was young. About ten years ago, I started to learn English. The first time I met English was April of the six grade in elementary school. My parents brought me a Canadian private teacher named Julie. I started to study English with her and my little sister and brother.
Our lesson was held only English. But sometimes we used Japanese. At first we learned how to introduce ourselves in English. It was a little hard for us. Because we were unfamiliar with non-Japanese people. In addition we were a little bit shy. After some lessons we became good friends. Talked a lot. Laugh a lot. Of course studied a lot. In that way, we spent a year.
After a year, I entered JHS. In JHS I got easy, simple, fundamental English grammer and vocabulary. These knowledge made English more interesting. When I got new words, I used in our chating with Julie. It was brilliant time. The lesson with Julie was continued when I graduate HS.

I think I had a great English teacher. She told me not only the knowledge of English, but also how fun and interesting it is. The reason why I want to be an English teacher is she. I want tell the plesure to a lot of children like Julie did for me.
